Artisan Application


There is no application fee.
10×10 booth – $75 for new applications, $50 for previous Firefly participants.


Generators and music is not allowed. We will have music playing during the event.

Admission to artisan fair is free, so we rely on your help to get customers here. Please promote this event on social media. We will send you links and logos to use.

This is a rain or shine event! (We have a plan in case of rain.)

Load in for artisans is from Saturday 9 am-3 pm.  Exact set-up times will be given to each artisan to avoid traffic jams. Firefly opens at 5 pm and will close at 9pm. It will not be permitted for you to pack up before 9pm. Food trucks arrive no later than 4 pm.

Artisans are responsible to provide their own tables, tents, signs and packaging.


Artisans will be selected by Firefly's Curator based on the application and images submitted. We will give priority to local Nashville artists.

Current and quality photos that show your work and booth to their fullest potential are encouraged. Images must be representative of the works that will be shown at the event. Selection is based on quality and skill in craftsmanship, original and creative ideas and attractiveness of display. Artisans with quality products may be accepted to a wait list once a category is full.

Accepted artisans will be invoiced for fees immediately after being notified of acceptance and payment is required within 10 business days of invoice date. If we do not receive your payment with in 10 days, you will lose your spot in the fair.

Application deadline- September 19, 2019. Notification of acceptance- September 23rd, 2019.


Accepted applications are a commitment to participate in the fair. No refunds will be made for any reason including inclement weather. Accepted artisans must exhibit for the entire event. In the event of extreme weather...

Artisans must be directly involved in the design and production of work they exhibit at the fair. Displays will be viewable throughout the fair.

Firefly Artisan Fair reserves the right to request the removal of any products that differ from the images submitted and accepted as well as any inappropriate products or display. Failure to remove such products or abide by the rules set forth may result in the artisans’s removal from the fair and applicant being prohibited from participating in future Firefly Artisan Fairs.

Any and all items you plan to sell during the market must be represented in your booth images.
Artisans bear the responsibility for all setup and security needs for their exhibits. Please allow for restocking during Fair hours as vehicles are not allowed on the streets after the fair is open to general public.

No generators are allowed in the fair. Battery lighting is acceptable. No amplified music is permitted. Your booth, and all displays, must be within your 10 x 10 space. We will provide an electric outlet and string lights overhead. You may want to bring additional lights for your tent.

Each artisan is responsible for collecting Tennessee State tax, Davidson County tax, and City of Nashville taxes as required by law.

Firefly Artisan Fair reserves the right to remove an artisan from the fair for conduct deemed unacceptable and/or detrimental to the mission and reputation of The Clay Lady’s Campus and Firefly Artisan Fair.

Accepted artisans who are not on the venue premises and setting up at their allotted time on October 6th, 2018 will forfeit their space and booth fee.

Artisans will be asked to participate once a week in social media posts with marketing material provided by Firefly Artisan Fair every week after being selected. Marketing material will be sent via email.
