About Firefly

Nashville’s Night to Shine!

Firefly Artisan Fair is a unique night market celebrating the Nashville arts community. Art has the power to illuminate, to transform, to educate, inspire and motivate. This event will highlight the arts in Nashville and call attention to the many artists of our area.

Each year in October, The Clay Lady’s Campus hosts a unique community arts event, Firefly Artisan Fair. This outdoor night market features Nashville artisans, musicians and food trucks. Attendees enjoy a unique shopping experience under the stars and are invited to participate in a larger public art installation. There will also be artist demonstrations, and an opportunity to explore our “Friends of Firefly” area, which offers information about Nashville’s various art programs and organizations. Admission and Valet Parking is FREE.

The firefly is an unassuming creature by day, but at night its gift of light transforms the darkness into something beautiful. Firefly Artisan Fair is based on the belief that art does the same—it illuminates and transforms both those who make and those who experience it. This one-night event is a celebration of the artistic “light” inside everyone, an opportunity to support local artists as well as participate directly in the arts as a community. Firefly Artisan Fair is Nashville’s night to shine light on its creatively-minded citizens.

Due to the safety guidelines from the CDC, and in order to keep Nashvillians safe, we are not hosting Firefly Artisan Fair in 2020. Instead we are highlighting Nashville artisans on Facebook, Instagram and our website, all who’ve been featured in Firefly in the past. See you next year!

Many artists rely on events like Firefly to sell their handmade goods. Please support these artists by visiting their websites and buy local!
